Darren is a local Deptford based woodworker whose studio is based in the Cockpit Arts Studios in Creekside. He takes raw, untreated wood and turns it into beautiful vessels that show the depth and beauty they contain.
As part of my project with SHAPESLewisham one of the creatives I got to work with was Darren. It was fascinating to talk with him about his journey to woodworking and what he tries to evoke through his pieces.
We had an aim to get one artist portrait and a series of branding images that would allow him to promote his work and use on socials and websites. Branding Photography is unique to each person and it's important to know the story of the business and the direction they want to go in.
